Unusual vintage 9ct gold diamond and ruby double heart ring. When I first saw this ring I presumed it was quite modern due to the design but surprisingly it is over 70 years old. It shows the makers mark E.S & Co (E.Silver & Co.) who were a jewellers based in New Bond St, London. It shows the lions head London assay, 9.375 and the letter N meaning it was hallmarked in 1948. It is a size O and weighs 2.5g.
