This is a beautiful, antique hair comb. Circa mid to late 1800's. The garnets are a lovely deep wine color and have an amazing sparkle. The design features a central floral arrangement with two smaller flower designs to each side. It has two tortoise shell tines and the heading is attached by a flexible hinge. The prongs measure 77mm x 16mm wide. The jewelled garnet section measures 60mm x 32mm at the highest/widest points. The piece is in very good antique condition - there were two garnets missing but they have been replaced.

Very good antique condition. Some surface wear to a few garnets which can only really be seen with a loupe.
